Our content management system (CMS) allows you to log in and make any changes you want to your web site for yourself. However, we understand that getting to grips with a new interface, no matter how well designed it might be, is not easy. At some point you will need some help in understanding all the different tools you can use to make changes to your site. Your annual subscription gives you unlimited access to our support services which are available 24/7 online and by telephone during normal office hours.
Within the CMS itself there are numerous help buttons which will give you quick tips on using the system. Each main function on the system has a help icon next to it and putting your mouse over it will instantly call up a hint box which will tell you what the function does.
In addition, we have a separate help centre which contains a comprehensive guide to using the CMS. This guide shows you how to perform all functions in the CMS using step-by-step graphics. The help centre also includes a set of useful guides to general web design principles covering such subjects as how to arrange your menu for easy access by users; how to layout a good web page; how to get images ready for display on a web site; and many other design-related topics.
When you're really stuck you can't beat having someone talk you through the problem. If you just have a quick question, you can get us on our dedicated support line during office hours. If you have something more complicated to deal with, we have a support call-back service for all of our subscribers so that you can book a time during normal office hours for us to call you back and guide you through the solution to your problem.
We often find that we the best way to help you sort out a problem with web site management is by email because this gives us an opportunity to look into the problem and to send you a comprehensive answer. You can send us a support question directly by email or use our online email support form which will help you formulate your support question. We guarantee to answer all email support requests within 12 normal office hours - in practice you will usually find that an answer comes back within 2 hours of your sending us the problem.
The easyGP web site package is based on the experience we have gained in building web sites for GP practices. Once you have signed up for a subscription to our web site package we will keep your web site and CMS up to the mark with all new service developments. We don't have different versions of the package in operation - all functionality is available at all times to every subscriber. This means that you never have to upgrade your package as we introduce new functionality - it will be automatically added as we roll it out.
