In January 2011 I was promoted to Office Manager so my role has changed quite a bit, but I still have a very "hands on" role within the surgery.

In January 2012 I was promoted to Deputy Practice Manager.

I joined the practice in November 1997.

Since then the surgery has changed quite a lot, aesthetically as well as moving with the times using up to date technology and procedures. My duties include dealing with all the daily requests in the running of a busy GP practice, and ensuring our patients get the best service. We scan all incoming letters in an attempt to save storage space and to improve access to patient information during consultations. It is my job to ensure this procedure is carried out correctly. I have also recently started to do audiograms which I find very interesting.

I cover the secretary when she is on holiday so have an opportunity to follow through the patients referrals and appointments with "Choose and Book."

I work fulltime, so over the years have gotten to know many of our patients, and have formed valuble friendships with some them.

Since Dr Borthwick has retired I have taken over the Surgery Website so all our recent news can be updated.

I recently got married and enjoy all kinds of music, have re-joined the gym in order to keep fit. Love reading, gardening and socialising.
