Swine Flu Vaccine

We are currently holding clinics for those in the risk groups listed below.

If you are in any of these groups you will be contacted either by phone or letter to come in for your vaccination. 

1. People aged over six months and under 65 years in current seasonal flu vaccine clinical at risk groups.
2. All pregnant women.
3. Household contacts of people with compromised immune systems e.g. people in regular close contact with patients on treatment for cancer.
4. People aged 65 and over in the current seasonal flu vaccine clinical at risk groups. This does not include otherwise healthy over 65s, since they appear to have some natural immunity to the virus.
5. Children aged under 5 years (01.01.05-15.06.09) are now being invited.  If you do not yet have an appointment please ask at
   Reception.

If  we receive any further information as to those entitled to swine flu vaccine we will issue this within the Practice and on our website.
