FOUNDATION YEAR DOCTORS AT STOWHEALTH

We have recently started training Foundation Year F2 doctors, here at Stowhealth.
The doctors who will be with us for four month periold, have been qualified for 2 years and are gaining experience in General Practice, having previously worked with local hospitals.

You can choose a consultation with any GP at Stowhealth. In order to see the doctor of your choice you will need to make a routine appointmnet which should normally be available with 10 working days. Routine appointments are typically longer in duration than same day appointments and

Natalie Bernthal, a 41 year old student, living in Suffolk and studying a bachelor's degree of fine art at University Campus Suffolk, is currently exhibiting her work at Stowhealth.

CERVICAL SCREENING

Women aged between 25 and 64 are invited at regular intervals for Cervical Screening. If you fall into the age group you will receive a letter inviting you to come in for a Cervical Smear.

Research suggest that up to 4,500 lives will be saved each year in England by Cervical Screening.

CHILDHOOD IMMUNISTATION PROGRAMME

Each child will receive an invitation to be immunised at various times for different vaccinations. You should receive a letter inviting your child to a clinic.

These letters are sent from Suffolk Child Health, to a clinic at Stowhealth.

These vaccines are important for your child's health to prevent diseased which can have lasting and serious effects if contracted.
