Psychotherapy
Bobbi Whitcombe
Are you:
- depressed?
- easily stressed?
- anxious?
- wanting to understand yourself better?
Psychotherapy offers a safe, confidential space for you to look at issues that are troubling you. Your therapist will not judge or advise you, but will help you to reflect on feelings and patterns of behaviour that may have built up over years. You will be able to explore your emotions and the possible underlying causes; sometimes events from the past can influence how we react to situations in the present. Talking with a skilled, empathic listener about anxieties, memories, dreams and personal experiences can help you to understand your inner world.
Psychotherapy is a process, and it is advisable to commit to six sessions, after which there will be a review; some people may choose to continue for a further number of sessions, depending on the depth of the work. Bobbi Whitcombe (B.A. Hons, Dip Couns, M.A. Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies, BACP) is an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist with clinics elsewhere in East Anglia.
