Register/Change Address

If you move house within our practice area you should let us know straight away by contacting reception. Alternatively you can fill in our online form to notify us of your change of address.

Registering as a new patient

The Practice welcomes new patients. When you register with us, we will request details of your past medical problems so as to avoid delay while we wait for your records to reach us. Hand written records can take anything up to three months to arrive at the practice. Even in these days of coded computerised medical records, there is as yet no way of transferring the electronic record from practice to practice, which is particularly irksome.

Register before you need us

Many new patients only register with us when they have a medical problem. We strongly recommend that you register when you move into the Practice area. While we would hope not to turn any unregistered patient away, who requested help, it is much more sensible to plan.

New patients

You need to call at the surgery and collect a registration pack for each person in your household who wishes to register with us. All the information on the forms needs to be filled out and then returned so we can register you properly.

If you are on repeat medication you will need to see your new GP before we can issue any prescriptions, so don't wait until you are out of items before registering.
