We have sucessfully recruited 90 Patient Participation Group (PPG)members, many thanks goes out to them for spending the time to help us improve the service we provide to You the patient.  We provide many services specifically for young People. You can be seen by a Doctor or other health care professional of your choice.
Our Practice offers advice on the following services:
Stop Smoking, Sexual Health, Contraception, Alcohol, Mental Health, Weight Management, Healthy Eating & Exercise

 Why not access The Newcastle Healthy Minds website? It is available to anyone aged 18+ who is a patient registered at a Newcastle Surgery.
The site provides information and self-referral into psycho-educational classes/groups (Stress Control, Anger Management, Improving Sleep or Self-Esteem Group for Women). Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy computer programmes for low mood (Beating the Blues) or specific anxieties (Fear Fighter) are also available.

The practice also closes for Time out sessions ( external staff training) one afternoon per quarter from 12.30pm and reopens at 8.15am the next day, if you need medical assistance during this time you can ring the practice 0191 2132392 and you will be given all the Out of hours telephone numbers

Extended hours |

 We now offer extended hours appointments for patients who can not attend during our normal surgery times. These appointments must be pre-booked and are only available as routine appointments on
