All the Doctors and Nurses work to appointments

Demand for appointments has increased over the years; we are still trying to keep up with demand and have made major changes to the appointment system to provide a faster and better service. There are 3 types of appointments.

Book appointments online

You can now book appointments online through SystemOne. To use the online booking system, you need to obtain a Personal Identity Number (PIN) from reception. This will allow you to log in to the online booking system to set up your own username and password. Once you have set this up you will be able to make your own appointments with us online.  Using this system will also allow you to request repeat prescriptions.

Extended hours appointments

We now offer extended hours appointments for patients who can not attend during our normal surgery times. Thse appointments must be pre-booked and are only available as routine appointments on

Wednesday 7.30am - 8.30am and 6.30pm - 8.00pm

Routine appointments

Routine appointments have been extended from 10 minutes to 15, patients are asked to bear this in mind when they are consulting and only use the specified time - this prevents doctors running late and paients waiting longer than they should. Pre-bookable appointments are available with both the Doctors & Nurse team.

Book on the day appointments

Book on the day appointments are available by ringing each morning from 8.30 am. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the doctor of your choice, although we will try to accommodate your request.

Emergency appointments

If you require an emergency appointment, contact the surgery for advice.

GOLDEN RULES FOR APPOINTMENTS

• If you decide that your appointment is no longer needed, please ring up and cancel so that someone else can have the appointment instead.
• Does more than one family member need to see the doctor? If so, please make a separate appointment for each person.
