I was brought up in Gosforth and trained as an undergraduate at Barts in London.  I did my GP training in the North East. 

I have a keen interest in teaching and training, both undergraduates and postgraduates, and am a Training Programme Director on the  Northumbrian General practice Training Scheme. ( www.northumbriagptraining.co.uk )

My other main professional interest outside GP is Occupational Medicine

I am married to another local GP and have 2 sons and 3 dogs.

Dr. Stephen Turley, Mb BcH BAO DRCOG, MRCGP DOccMED

Trained in Belfast    Qualified in 1986

I qualified in 1986 in Belfast and have worked in the North East since 1987. I completed my GP Training in 1991 and have worked at Roseworth since 1996.
My area of special interest outside of General Practice is Occupational Health and I work in a variety of NHS and non NHS settings.
I am actively involved in all aspects of undergraduate and postgraduate medical training within the practice.
I am married with three daughters and a dog. I am interested in football, old cars, cult television programmes and trying to stay fit by running (slowly).
I have been trying with limited success to learn German for the past three years.

Dr. Halina Tomaszczyk   MD MRCS LRCP DRCOG JCPTGP

Trained in Poland   Qualified 1983

Originally qualified in Krakow, Poland, requalified at St. George’s, London, GP training scheme in London.  Married with 3 children, and enjoys running (non-competitively), volleyball, gardening. A keen interest in womens health issues, providing coil (IUCD) and contraceptive implant fitting within the practice
