Goodbye to Nurse Smedley |

Cath Smedley, one of our Practice Nurses has left us to pursue a new life in the Norwich area, from where she hails. She was a great asset to our Practice and we are sorry to see her go and wish her and her family all the best. We are in the process of recruiting a replacementand have secured the services of Pamela Laughton, and experienced Practice Nurse, in the interim. |

We now have two practitioners, Angela Stanniforth (formerly one of our counsellors) and Maggie Speake, who are part of the "Improving Access to Psychological Therapies" programme. They will focus mainly on delivery of Cognitive behavioural Therapies for anxiety, depression and OCD. Rinda Haake remains our Practice Counsellor. |

Extended Hours are here! |

Following a long wait for clarification from the Government and the PCT, we have had our extended hours plans approved. From 1st October 2008, we will be offering surgeries later in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays, and one Saturday morning per month. These appointments are pre-bookable only, and not drop-in/emergency During these extended opening hours, the phone lines will still be switched through to the Out Of Hours provider, to deal with emergency/urgent cases |
