The practice has a health screening program where people are invited to attend for a basic health check by the nurse. We are targeting those patients from middle age onwards who are not regularly seen and do not have basic health data recorded such as whether they smoke and what their blood pressure is. We aim to find new cases of hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, emphysema and kidney disease.
If you get an appointment for this clinic we certainly encourage you to attend. If you cannot, just let us know and you are welcome to book an alternative.
If you have not had your blood pressure recorded in the last five years and would like this checked, please do ask reception for a screening appointment with the nurse assistant.
