The Practice provides an integrated Nursing Service, consisting of practice nurses working at St. Leonard's and district nurses who see patients at home

There is a close liaison between the two groups of nurses and together they have recently created a joint district nurse/practice nurse leg ulcer clinic at St. Leonard's

The nurses provide a comprehensive service of nursing, health promotion and preventive medicine. The practice nurses have had specific training to care for patients with high blood pressure, diabetes and asthma.
