Repeat Prescriptions | ||
|
If you want to order repeat prescriptions, you MUST order by the following method: You can order repeat prescriptions in 4 ways:
In all cases please order your prescriptions 2 working days before they are needed (longer if ordering by post). We have 17100 patients, so we need a bit of notice!
Collecting your repeat medication
|
Prescriptions for medication that you may have had before but which are not on a repeated prescription cannot be issued routinely as above. You may request it by telephoning or in person but it must be authorised by your doctor. Following the recent changes to the practice, you can now only collect your repeat prescriptions from Station Road surgery. However, if you are a chemist patient and have your repeat prescriptions sent direct to the pharmacy, you are not affected and will continue as normal.
Delivery | ||
|
Our weekly delivery service is now in place and we currently deliver to around 70 patients. If you are a patient that we dispense to, you are over 65 years old and are interested in having your medication delivered, please ask at the Dispensary. If you don't pay for your prescriptions and have difficulty collecting it from the surgery you may be able to either pick it up from or have it delivered by Lloyds Pharmacy. This service is unfortunately only available for people who live in Attleborough. Contact the pharmacy for details |

We dispense drugs directly from the surgery to approximately one third of our patients. We are allowed to dispense only to those patients who live more than one mile from a pharmacy (the government's rules, not ours!). All other patients may take their prescriptions to any pharmacy they like, although the two Lloyds pharmacies in Attleborough will be the nearest for the majority of our patients.
