For details about how, when and where to get your contraception organised locally see below:

  • Emergency Contraception ("the morning after pill") can be used up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, and is available to buy at pharmacies, but can be prescribed for free at the surgery - contact reception as usual.
  • The Practice Nurses are available for family planning appointments to discuss your needs, carry out pill checks and issue repeat prescriptions.
  • All our doctors can discuss contraception with you in a routine appointment. Dr Kerrie Spaul can also fit coils.
